Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Cascade's 12th in Last 14 Outings

Cascade extended their postseason success on Friday against Coeur du Christ Academy. They came out on top against the Coeur du Christ Academy Saints by a score of 64-57.

Several Saints players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Grant Clemens, who shot 44% from the field en route to 22 points and three steals. With that strong performance, Clemens is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game. Another player making a difference was Ben Connelly, who posted 22 points and eight rebounds.

Cascade is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Coeur du Christ Academy and nudges their season record down to 13-10.

Cascade didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-43 defeat against Watersprings on the 8th. Coeur du Christ Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
