Soccer Game Preview: Lodi vs. Tracy

The Lodi Flames will face off against the Tracy Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Last Thursday, Lodi came up short against St. Mary's and fell 3-1.

Lodi's goal came courtesy of Devin Briceno, who's now up to eight this season.

Meanwhile, Tracy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Lincoln. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 789th, while the Trojans are ranked 117th).

Tracy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-3. As for Lodi, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 1-1-2 and their overall record down to 4-5-4.
