Football Recap: William Allen Takes a Loss

Something's probably wrong if your team accumulates more yards in penalties than offense, a fact William Allen just learned the hard way. They took a blow against the Parkland Trojans on Thursday, falling 45-0. The loss continues a trend for the Canaries in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost six in a row.

Julian Pagan threw for 32 yards on five of 14 attempts.

Tj Lawrence continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Parkland, rushing for 59 yards and three TDs on only eight carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Lawrence a new career-high. Nassim Adams also helped out with an impressive 86 receiving yards.

William Allen's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Parkland, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. William Allen will venture away from home to square off against Allentown Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on the 4th. As for Parkland, they will head out to take on Louis E. Dieruff at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd. The Trojans will be up against the Huskies' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.6 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
