Baseball Recap: Deerfield Beach Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Deerfield Beach extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Coral Springs. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Colts 4-3. The victory was familiar territory for the Bucks, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Diego Avila was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Javi Sierra, who scored two runs and stole a base.

Deerfield Beach's record now sits at 14-9. As for Coral Springs, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season.

Deerfield Beach will square off against West Boca Raton at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Coral Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
