Towson had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. They never let the Archbishop Curley Friars get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. The Generals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

Towson pushed their record up to 21-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Archbishop Curley, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-13.
