Columbia lost to Brazosport back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Columbia Roughnecks enjoyed a cozy 59-43 victory over the Brazosport Exporters. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Roughnecks.

When it comes to explaining why Brazosport lost, don't look at Deja El-Amin. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten steals. El-Amin is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Eshanti Green, who posted two points along with eight rebounds and five steals.

Columbia is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.7 points per game. As for Brazosport, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-12.
