Football Recap: Grangeville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 34 points the game before, Grangeville was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They had to suffer through a 42-6 loss at the hands of the Priest River Spartans. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Priest River to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nate Fegert, who rushed for 97 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Layton Goins was in the mix too, providing the Spartans with two scores.

Having lost for the first time this season, Grangeville fell to 2-1. As for Priest River, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.

Grangeville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 30-20 defeat against New Plymouth on the 12th. As for Priest River, they have also already played their next game, a 35-8 loss against Newport on the 12th.
