Belton came tearing into Friday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Little River Academy Bumblebees.

Belton's win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Little River Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Coming up, Belton will take on Shoemaker in a tournament on Friday. After both having extra time off, Little River Academy and Harker Heights will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
