Duanesburg won the last time they faced Fort Plain and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Hilltoppers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Gabby DeLeon and Genevieve Rickert were a major factor no matter where they played. On the mound, DeLeon struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Meanwhile, Rickert pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. At the plate, DeLeon scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4, while Rickert scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Those three runs gave DeLeon a new career-high.
