Volleyball Game Preview: St. John Eagles vs. Assumption Mustangs

The St. John Eagles will head out to face off against the Assumption Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Tuesday, St. John came up short against Zachary and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Assumption lost 3-0 to Lutcher on Wednesday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Assumption's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for St. John, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.

St. John couldn't quite get it done against Assumption in their previous meeting on September 4th as they fell 2-0. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
