            Football Recap: Flagstaff Eagles vs. Bradshaw Mountain Bears        
        
		
        
        
            
Flagstaff had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but  on Friday they dropped down to 1-5 to make it six. They were  outmatched by the Bradshaw Mountain Bears and fell  49-6. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  28-6.
 AJ Valdez threw for 102 yards and one  TD.   Zeke Jim was his top target, picking up 39 receiving yards and one  touchdown.  On the ground,  Adan Garcia rushed for 51 yards on only five carries.
As for Bradshaw Mountain, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2. The  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 46.3 points over those games.
 Leading Bradshaw Mountain to victory were  Kylin Jackson and  Michael Sanford.  Jackson rushed for 205 yards and three  scores while picking up 10.3 yards per carry, while  Sanford rushed for 103 yards and a pair of  TDs on only six carries. Sanford got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 65 yards.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Flagstaff will  square off against  rival Mohave  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. That  matchup will pit two of the most dominant  signal callers against one another:  Chase Brown and  Joe Yoney. Meanwhile, Bradshaw Mountain is set to  take on  their familiar foe Lee Williams  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams have allowed few  points on average (the Bears 14.7, the Volunteers 9.3) so any  points scored will be well earned.
