Las Cruces has gone 8-2 against Alamogordo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Las Cruces Bulldawgs are taking a road trip to challenge the Alamogordo Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Las Cruces is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Mexico's top teams: Organ Mountain, who was ranked seventh at the time (Las Cruces was ranked 23rd). Las Cruces fell just short of Organ Mountain by a score of 48-45 on Thursday. The Bulldawgs haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Meanwhile, Alamogordo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 60-59 heartbreaker at the hands of Mayfield.

Las Cruces' defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Alamogordo, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14.

Las Cruces took their victory against Alamogordo in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 62-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for Las Cruces since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
