Basketball Recap: James Logan Takes a Loss

James Logan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Grant Pacers, falling 68-40. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 794th, while the Pacers are ranked 99th).

James Logan's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Grant, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. It'll be an old-fashioned rodeo when the James Logan Colts challenge the Monte Vista Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Grant, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Destiny Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. One thing working in Grant's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight games.
