Softball Game Preview: Munday Moguls vs. Knox City Greyhounds

The Munday Moguls will head out to square off against the Knox City Greyhounds at 11:10 a.m. on Saturday. Munday has given up an average of 11.8 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Things were looking good for Munday after they put the first points on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They came up short against Harrold, falling 13-3. The Moguls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Knox City ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They walked away with an 11-8 victory over Northside. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Greyhounds.

Knox City picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-4-1. As for Munday, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Munday was able to grind out a solid victory over Knox City when the teams last played last Monday, winning 21-18. The rematch might be a little tougher for Munday since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
