Ahumada came up big in Cholla's 13-2 win
Nelson Ahumada produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Cholla to the win on Thursday. Ahumada was dynamite, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits.
Ahumada and Cholla will head out on the road to square off against Pusch Ridge Christian Academy at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. Ahumada has dominated as far as runs are concerned (he's averaged 0.8 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering Pusch Ridge Christian Academy has only allowed 4.55 per game this season.
