Marshall has gone a perfect 10-0 against Mexico recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Owls will host the Bulldogs at 6:40 p.m. The timing is sure in Marshall's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Mexico has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Marshall fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Moberly on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 3-2. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Marshall came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 28th, while Moberly are ranked 121st).

Meanwhile, Mexico managed to keep up with Missouri Military Academy until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Bulldogs lost 6-3 to the Fighting Colonels.

Mexico's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Marshall, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 10-3.

Marshall took their win against Mexico in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 8-0 score. Will the Owls repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
