Softball Recap: Willows Comes Up Short

Willows was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 19-4 to the Burney Raiders.

Gianna Calonico was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of June Mason, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.

Willows' loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Coming up, Willows will take on Anderson in a tournament on Friday. As for Burney, they will square off against Mt. Shasta at 11:45 a.m. on Friday.
