Softball Recap: Butler County Comes Up Short

Butler County was the 4-3 winner over Grayson County when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Bears fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 5-4 on Wednesday.

Butler County has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-22 record this season. As for Grayson County, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-13.

Butler County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 16-2 loss against Muhlenberg County on the 9th. As for Grayson County, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-5 defeat against Trinity on the 12th.
