Richards extended their winning streak to 13 on Friday, bumping them up to 17-2. They claimed a resounding 86-50 win over the Calvert Trojans. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Leading Richards to victory were OWEN PIERSALL and HEATH GRAVES. PIERSALL dropped a double-double with 30 points and 11 assists, while GRAVES shot 53% from the field on his way to 33 points and six boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which GRAVES has scored at least a third of the Panthers' points. Another player making a difference was JACKSON TENNISON, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Richards was working as a unit and finished the game with 26 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

As for Calvert, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Calvert's loss came despite strong showings from Jertorious Blair and Deandre Ross. Blair dropped a double-double with 29 points and 14 boards, while Ross posted 14 points and six rebounds.

Looking ahead, Richards will be playing at home against Round Top-Carmine at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Calvert, they are taking a road trip to square off against Fayetteville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans will need to watch out since the Lions have now posted at least 55 points in their last 15 games.
