Recap: Uintah Utes vs. Fruita Monument Wildcats
The Uintah Utes lost against the Fruita Monument Wildcats back in December of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Uintah ended up on the wrong side of a rough 45-21 walloping at the hands of Fruita Monument.
Mackenzie White was Uintah's leading scorer, having posted eight points.
Charlee Gilroy held things down on the boards with seven rebounds. Gilroy took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.
Among those leading the charge was Mckenzie Mason, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Campbell, who scored 11 points.
Uintah now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Fruita Monument, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Uintah will head out on the road to face off against Spanish Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fruita Monument, they will be playing at home against Eaglecrest at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
