Basketball Recap: Blair Comes Up Short

Blair has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They came up short against the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons on Thursday, falling 56-36. While losing is never fun, the Blazers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Barons are ranked 23rd).

Blair's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Bethesda-Chevy Chase, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Bethesda-Chevy Chase beat Blair by a score of 56-36 on Friday.
