Clermont Northeastern is 9-1 against Felicity-Franklin since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Clermont Northeastern Rockets will head out on the road to square off against the Felicity-Franklin Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Clermont Northeastern fought the good fight in their overtime game against Clinton-Massie on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Falcons 56-52. While the Rockets didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Falcons 14-10 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Felicity-Franklin played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 68-48 to Lynchburg-Clay. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cardinals have suffered since February 19, 2024.

Felicity-Franklin's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Clermont Northeastern, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.

Clermont Northeastern was able to grind out a solid win over Felicity-Franklin in their previous matchup back in January, winning 47-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Clermont Northeastern since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
