Game recap: Wake Forest High School Football Team takes down Hoggard

WILMINGTON, N.C. - Wake Forest (N.C.) saw its 23-point lead shrink to 10, but hung on to beat Hoggard (Wilmington, N.C.) 33-23 on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a Devonte Reynolds touchdown run in the first quarter, the Cougars were up 21-10 at the half.

Wake Forest grew its lead to 17 points entering the fourth quarter. WF scored once in the quarter on a touchdown catch by Bryce Love.

The loss comes after Hoggard defeated Purnell Swett 45-14 last week.
