Softball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central lost to Agawam back in June of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Golden Eagles lost 29-1 to the Brownies.

Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jenna Pooler, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Central has also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. As for Agawam, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.

As of now, neither Central nor the Brownies have any future games scheduled.
