Fort Lupton came into Tuesday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on The Pinnacle Timberwolves with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Bluedevils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Fort Lupton never let The Pinnacle on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17, 25-19.

Gabriella Aviles paced Fort Lupton's offense, picking up ten kills. Aviles were helped by Andrea Anguiano and Genesis Diaz, who contributed 12 assists each. Aviles was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Fort Lupton now has a winning record of 8-7. As for The Pinnacle, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
