Basketball Recap: Zion Chapel Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Zion Chapel can now relate to. They lost 70-47 to the Luverne Tigers on Friday. The Rebels just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

Zion Chapel's loss dropped their record down to 5-22. As for Luverne, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season.

Zion Chapel does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Luverne, they will face off against Pike Liberal Arts at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Luverne's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
