Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Great Bridge). They never let the Lakeland Cavaliers get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Thursday. Great Bridge haven't had any issues with Lakeland recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Great Bridge's offense was hitting Lakeland from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Audrey Orrock led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for five goals all by herself.

Great Bridge's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Lakeland, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Great Bridge will welcome Indian River at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakeland, they will challenge Hickory at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hickory will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Lakeland surely won't give up without a fight.
