Volleyball Recap: Plainfield South Takes a Loss

Plainfield South lost against Joliet Catholic back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hilltoppers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-20.

Plainfield South now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Joliet Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-9 record this season.

Plainfield South will challenge Plainfield Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Joliet Catholic, they will square off against Marist at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
