Basketball Recap: Dupont Manual's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Tuesday

After losing to North Hardin the last time they met, DuPont Manual decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The DuPont Manual Crimsons strolled past the North Hardin Trojans with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 80-62. Given the Crimsons' advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 11th, while the Trojans are ranked 118th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

DuPont Manual pushed their record up to 18-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.0 points per game. As for North Hardin, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-11.

DuPont Manual will host Fern Creek at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Hardin, they will venture away from home to challenge Whitefield Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
