Football Recap: Chapin Takes a Loss

Chapin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the White Knoll Timberwolves, falling 42-7. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 129th, while the Timberwolves are ranked tenth).

Cooper Derrick threw for 91 yards on seven of 21 attempts. Jessup Boulware was his top target, picking up 57 receiving yards. On the ground, Luke Cromer rushed for 142 yards and one TD.

Chapin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for White Knoll, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

As of now, neither Chapin nor the Timberwolves have any future games scheduled.
