Basketball Recap: Spring Snags Ninth Victory in Last 12 Games

There's no place like home for Spring, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They took down the Benjamin Davis Falcons 48-34 on Friday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 41-33 back in December of 2024.

Spring's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alayah Masters led the charge by going 6 for 8 on her way to 14 points and five boards. That's the most points Masters has posted since back in November of 2024. Saniyah Blackshire was another key player, putting up 11 points and six rebounds.

Spring has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-16 record this season. As for Benjamin Davis, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-16.

Spring didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-30 victory against Eisenhower on the 23rd. As for Benjamin Davis, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 50-38 win against Dekaney on the 22nd.
