Preble Shawnee came out on top against National Trail on Tuesday thanks in part to Mattie Colburn's efforts. Colburn wasn't messing around, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. The pitching appearance was her third straight with two or fewer walks.

Coming up, Colburn and Preble Shawnee will head out to challenge Tri-County North at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Arrows haven't beaten the Panthers recently, having gone 0-5 since April of 2018.
