Maiden and Lincolnton are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Blue Devils will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Wolves at 5:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Maiden barely beat Bunker Hill the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Blue Devils were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Bears on Tuesday. Maiden haven't had any issues with Bunker Hill recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, East Burke kept up with Lincolnton until halftime on Tuesday, but afterwards: not so much. Wolves put the hurt on the Cavaliers with a sharp 4-1 victory. Considering Lincolnton have won three matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit East Burke with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Camila Rodriguez-Hernandez (2), Ashly Pena Cortez, and Melanie Solera.

The win made it two in a row for Lincolnton and bumps their season record up to 4-6. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those two contests. As for Maiden, their win bumped their record up to 6-4-1.

Maiden beat Lincolnton 2-0 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Do the Blue Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will Wolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
