Basketball Recap: Bryce Valley Takes a Loss

Bryce Valley lost against Manila back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bryce Valley Mustangs were beaten by the Manila Mustangs 71-44. Bryce Valley was down 56-32 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Manila to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sadie Davis, who went 12 of 22 on her way to 26 points. Those 26 points gave Davis a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kallie Bair, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 16 rebounds.

Bryce Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Manila, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.

Bryce Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 50-30 defeat against Tabiona on the 3rd. As for Manila, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-44 loss against Rich on the 28th.
