Soccer Recap: Calaveras Takes a Loss

Calaveras lost to Riverbank back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Hawks fell just short of the Bruins by a score of 2-1.

Calaveras' goal came courtesy of Aiden Hollenbach, who's now up to nine this season.

Calaveras' defeat dropped their record down to 5-5-2. As for Riverbank, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7-5 record this season.

Calaveras will be playing at home against Summerville at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Summerville have yet to allow a single goal through 12 contests this season, a streak Calaveras will look to end. As for Riverbank, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Venture Academy on the 10th.
