Baseball Recap: North Raleigh Christian Academy Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for North Raleigh Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past the Ravenscroft Ravens 8-1 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won four matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Jackson Tysor was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

In other batting news, Trent Baker was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Another player making a difference was Kai Patton, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

The victory snapped North Raleigh Christian Academy's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-3 record. As for Ravenscroft, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-5.

North Raleigh Christian Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against Ravenscroft: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
