            Baseball Recap: Seneca Bobcats vs. Union City Bears        
        
		
        
        
            Seneca was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They fell  7-4 to the Union City Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  11-4  two weeks ago.
  Michael Gilmore was cooking despite his team's loss,   getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI. That  double marked the first that  he has  hit this season.  Jared Gladitz was another key player,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  RBI.
Seneca's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Union City, their record is now 6-3.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Seneca is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Iroquois  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Union City will  take on  rival Youngsville  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
