Softball Recap: Skyview Has No Trouble Against Corvallis

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sentinel, Skyview was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Corvallis Blue Devils 14-3. The Falcons not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since May 4, 2024.

Lexi Johnston was a standout: she got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ella Martin, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

The victory got Skyview back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Skyview will square off against Billings West at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The match will give Skyview their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Corvallis, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Big Sky at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
