Softball Recap: Stratford Comes Up Short

If Stratford was feeling good fresh off their 16-2 takedown of Weston on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Devils came up short against the Bunnell Bulldogs on Wednesday, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-3 two weeks ago.

Stratford's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Bunnell, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Stratford has already played their next game, a 15-8 victory against Weston on the 2nd. As for Bunnell, they will venture away from home to face off against New Milford at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Green Wave have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
