Basketball Recap: Landmark Academy Takes a Loss

Landmark Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the New Life Christian Academy Knights, falling 54-25. While losing is never fun, Landmark Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 731st, while New Life Christian Academy is ranked 332nd).

Landmark Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for New Life Christian Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Landmark Academy will challenge CenterPoint Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. CenterPoint Christian Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. New Life Christian Academy has already played their next match (against Austin Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
