Baseball Recap: Northeastern Clinton Cougars vs. Moriah Vikings        
        
		
            
 After flying high against Chazy  last Saturday, Northeastern Clinton came back down to earth. The Northeastern Clinton Cougars fell just short of the Moriah Vikings by a score of  7-5 on Tuesday. Northeastern Clinton was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Moriah apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in April.
 For Moriah's part,  Owen Nephew was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Nephew has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played.  Chase McGinness was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
 Northeastern Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Moriah, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-10.
 As of now, neither Northeastern Clinton nor Moriah have any future games scheduled.
