Softball Recap: Amelia County Takes a Loss

Amelia County and Arcadia squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Amelia County had to settle for second. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Firebirds. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Raiders were not able to get on the board.

Amelia County now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Arcadia, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-7.

Amelia County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Arcadia, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-1 defeat against Poquoson on the 29th.
