It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Sebastian River had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Bayside Bears. The victory was nothing new for the Sharks as they're now sitting on three straight.

Kiera Carow made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5 strikeouts per game. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
