Baseball Recap: Pasco Takes a Loss

Pasco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Southridge Suns. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Suns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-2 on Friday.

Jon Wokojance made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Max Garcia was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs.

Pasco's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Southridge, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

Coincidentally, Pasco and Southridge will both be playing Hermiston the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Suns will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
