Softball Recap: Stonewall Jackson Comes Up Short

After flying high against Rappahannock County on Thursday, Stonewall Jackson came back down to earth. The Generals came up short against the Strasburg Rams on Monday, falling 10-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 on April 4th.

Stonewall Jackson has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Strasburg, they pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stonewall Jackson will square off against Luray at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Strasburg, they will take on James Wood at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
