Football Recap: Noblesville Takes a Loss

Noblesville extended their losing streak to six on Friday, dropping them down to 1-6. They lost 31-6 to the Hamilton Southeastern Royals. The contest marked the Millers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Windsor Hutchins threw for 79 yards and one TD. Alfred Alwine was his top target, picking up 38 receiving yards and one touchdown.

As for Hamilton Southeastern, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-3 record. The final result isn't all that surprising considering their considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 15th, while Noblesville is ranked 81st).

Hamilton Southeastern's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Deaken Johnson, who threw for 266 yards and a pair of TDs. Another pass catcher making a difference was Graham Toner, who picked up 108 receiving yards and one score.

Meanwhile, Hamilton Southeastern is set to challenge their familiar foe Franklin Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 815 yards in their previous games.
