Basketball Recap: Archbold Comes Up Short

Archbold was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 53-40 to the Paulding Panthers.

Paulding found their leader in sophomore Kayleigh Dunham, who went 7-for-12 on her way to 17 points and six rebounds. Dunham is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Estie Pease, who posted ten points.

Archbold's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Paulding, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Archbold does not have any more games scheduled as of now. We've got a battle between Panthers coming up.
