Ryan Cernoch, and subsequently went into halftime leading 14-12.
Crockett (Texas) took the lead for good with a field goal in the third quarter.
The Bulldogs has had a rough season, allowing 40.8 points per game. However, Crockett's defense dug in and limited the Panthers right around their season average of 14.9 points per game.
CHS avenged last year's 28-10 loss to Westwood with the victory.
The victory was a step in the right direction for the Bulldogs, who were coming off a 41-20 defeat at the hands of Teague in its previous game.
In its next matchup Crockett (3-7) will take on Corrigan-Camden in a non-conference game. The Bulldogs enter the contest having posted a 9-0.
