Baseball Recap: Palisades Dolphins vs. Sylmar Spartans
If Palisades was riding high fresh off their 11-1 takedown of Los Angeles CES on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dolphins took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sylmar Spartans on Saturday. The Dolphins were red-hot at the plate heading into the match (they scored no less than ten runs in the three games prior), but the Spartans' pitchers proved too tough.
Palisades saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack O'Brien, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and one run. That triple was O'Brien's first of the season.
