Jefferson and Roosevelt are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Democrats will host the Roughriders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jefferson has given up an average of 30.8 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Jefferson's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against Grant on Friday. They were dealt a 34-0 defeat at the hands of the Generals. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Democrats were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Roosevelt, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They snuck past Lincoln with an 18-14 win on Friday.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Roosevelt, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-3.

Jefferson was dealt a bruising 36-6 defeat at the hands of Roosevelt in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Democrats, Dontrell Betts (who rushed for 101 yards and a pair of TDs on only 14 carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
